Q: What PDM systems are supported?
A: RSDesigner 7 supports Pro/INTRALINK 3.x with a direct interface to the Intralink client. It also supports PDMLink, Intralink and ProjectLink at 8.0 M040 via the new Workgroup Manager (WGM) for ECAD and Routed Systems. This tool can be launched from RSDesigner and it provides an interface to check in and check out designs from a Windchill server. At check-in the WGM can generate HPGL viewable files compatible with ProductView and also generate a Cabling or Piping compatible XML file depending on the type of diagram that is produced. A Bill of Materials (BOM) can also be checked in with the design.
