Q: What does ‘CC newer’ mean?
A: When CC newer is seen in the Verify Catalog tool this means that a catalog administrator has updated the Central Catalog item and the local catalog item in the design is out of date.
It is recommended to update the item and propagate the update to the instances of the item.
Note: When a non-Central Catalog design is merged with a Central Catalog some items may get linked (the system will report this). All linked items are reported as ‘CC newer’ in the Verify Catalog tool so that the user has an opportunity to update against the CC.
